Join us on 5 June 2025 for a post-budget briefing from Minister of Finance, Hon Nicola Willis. As one of the first public appearances for the Minister following the delivery of the 2025 Budget, you will hear first-hand how the Government's fiscal decisions will impact family businesses leaders and the New Zealand economy.
This event is a great opportunity to gain an insider perspective on the headline outcomes of Budget 2025 that will be released on the 22 May 2025 and how it impacts business, and with plenty of time allowed for Q&A and networking over breakfast, this event is also a great opportunity to host your team or clients.

Hon Nicola Willis, Minister of Finance
Nicola Willis is the Minister of Finance, Minister for the Public Service, Minister for Social Investment and Associate Minister of Climate Change.
Prior to becoming an MP, Nicola held several senior management roles at New Zealand dairy co-operative Fonterra. She also served on the boards of Export NZ and policy think-tank the New Zealand Initiative.
Nicola was a senior advisor to Prime Minister John Key during his first term in Government, having previously worked for the National Party in Opposition.

Jessica Mutch McKay, Head of government relations and corporate responsibility, ANZ Bank
Jessica Mutch McKay joined TVNZ in 2008 and there she covered several New Zealand elections and by-elections, and elections from other countries such as the 2007 Australian election and the 2012 United States election. She was the 1 News Europe correspondent between 2013 and 2015.
She returned to New Zealand in 2012 to host Q+A, a weekly politics talk show. She left this role in 2018 to become TVNZ's political editor. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mutch McKay led political coverage of the government's response to the pandemic, as well as the Wellington protest. She covered the 2023 general election, co-hosting the election night coverage for TVNZ, and hosted and moderated two debates between the leaders of National and Labour: Christopher Luxon and Chris Hipkins.
Mutch McKay announced her departure from TVNZ in early 2024 to work for ANZ as the head of government relations and corporate responsibility.
