Safeguard Your Rights, Ensure Consistency, and Avoid Costly Disputes!
FBA and State Partners, ADLV Law, are delighted to bring together our South Australian Forum Group community.
In a family business, relationships matter—but so does clear governance. A well-crafted Shareholders' Agreement is essential for protecting shareholder rights, ensuring consistent governance, and preventing conflicts that can arise from ambiguous or conflicting documents.
A Shareholders’ Agreement reduces surprises, sets expectations, and helps everyone stay on the same page.
Join us to learn about:
- what a Shareholders’ Agreement should include
- how to put one together and
- why an appropriate Shareholders’ Agreement is a critical piece of any family business’s governance blueprint.

Kasia is a solicitor at ADLV Law Lawyers and a Family Business Association Accredited Advisor.
Kasia has worked with several families to help them achieve their goals, whether it be to pass on wealth now or after death or put in place a plan that brings more of the family to the decision-making table. This includes being involved with family offices and seeing first-hand what works and what doesn’t work in the context of a family board.
She has assisted families comprehensively re-structure the way they hold assets in a tax-effective and protective manner, assisted families to put in place comprehensive succession plans and has undertaken complex property transactions, often in conjunction with other trusted family advisors. Kasia has experience in advising individuals and families experiencing disharmony and conflict, both within the family group and with external parties.
Kasia understands that in family enterprises, legal issues are multi-faceted and need to take into account family dynamics, existing investment and business structures, as well as competing personal goals. Kasia provides pragmatic and effective guidance and legal support to families and individuals who face these unique challenges.
Kasia holds bachelor’s degrees in Law (Second Class Honours) and Arts, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Business Law.
